Domesticated Landscapes examines the human struggle for habitat. It is a genuine behavioural trait of our species to alter the environment in order to fulfill our very own needs. Eventually this demand of resources has a profound effect on surrounding landscape.
Las Vegas is the fastest expanding metropolis in the United States, with a population increase of 41.8 per cent from 2000 to 2010. The harsh climate and the nature of the environment increase the city’s need for energy. The creation of a habitat for 575 000+ people within a single decade drastically transformed the terrain.

Really great series Thomas. I take it you're familiar with Edward Burtynsky or you've seen Manufactured Landscapes? These are great aerials, would love to know what means of transportation allowed you to get these shots, or if you have a natural ability to jump really high.
